TRIPLE BILL is an account that makes godx, it is the triangle of disunification, three sad tigers, the three marias of aerial life.

Triple Bill. Triple money (not really). Triple fun (absolutely). Triple work (definitely). We passed 27, we didn’t die. We reached 30, survivors or the return of Saturn and we continued. It was seven years ago in 2020 that Rabbit Hole started, with meetings, at Rua das Gaivotas 6 at the time when there was still  pouring rain inside. There are studies that say that the human body takes 7 years to recycle the cells it produces. And studies on cell recycling of a space, ideas, anyone? Anyway, seven years passed. And we are the same but we are not. Same same, but different.

Therefore, regardless of the veracity of the aforementioned studies, a triple bill, is a number of 3 created by 3 elements of the rabbit hole that started to live in Rua das Gaivotas 6 years ago or more. For 3 weeks, we have a pink card for shows, installations, cinema cycles, parties, concerts, conversations, drinks and meetings. A dense, fractal, multiple program, which you can consult below. Read on.

Rabbit Hole is a cultural association dedicated to the curation, programing, production and creation of artistic events. Since 2011, it dedicates activity to the production and showcasing of film cycles, performance and video art, theatre, concerts, debates, while promoting encounters, parties and raves.

Emerging from the creation of parties that promoted these different and diverse artistic expressions, at the moment, Rabbit Hole works as a production structure for the creation and dissemination of the artistic works of the members and associates of the collective.

Rabbit Hole strives to generate inclusive space for the expression of alternative genders, ideas, languages and aesthetics, promoting transdisciplinary and experimental artistic exchanges. The Rabbit Hole collective is composed by a number of thinkers and artists coming from different areas such as economics, political sciences, curatorship, theatre, performance, dance, media art and cinema.

Part-time artist, part-time researcher, full-time person. Maker, performer, dramaturg and researcher. Studied Performance Making, Political Science and Visual Studies, being now finishing my PhD in social sciences. His artistic research is very much centred on new dramaturgies and hybridism, combining performing arts and multimedia. Founding member of Rabbit Hole. My most recent works are the performance series ‘www.we want waffles #1’ and ‘Lost in Cyberia Pro1.2’.

As a visually oriented creator, she uses moving images to explore colourful and absurd tableaux vivants. She attended the dramatic expression course at Chapitô, and after that she collaborated with the Nova Theater Group until 2013. In 2016, Mafalda finished her MA program in Performance Making, at Goldsmiths University (London), and in 2018 the 1st edition of PACAP – Advanced programme on performance arts creation (Forum Dança), and she was one of the 13 artists selected for Transeuropa Fluid 2018. She is member of the artistic collective Rabbit Hole, based in Lisbon, since December 2013. Her works and collaborations have already been presented in Portugal, Italy, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and Greece. Currently, she is responsible for the communication management of Rua das Gaivotas 6 / Teatro Praga, continuing to develop her artistic projects in parallel.

Mariana Nobre Vieira is a former economist who in 2013 took a performative turn into contemporary dance, being a founding member of The Rabbit Hole artistic collective with which she has worked intensively throughout the night life/party and performing art scenes in Lisbon. She has recently graduated from the SODA (Solo, Dance, Authorship) Master program in HZT/UDK Berlin and is now working as a performer, teacher and choreographer, having danced with and for artists such as Frank Willens, Clément Layes, Jeremy Shaw and André Uerba. In her own work she uses collaborative processes to generate celebratory moments, weaving contemporary dance with queer club culture and rave dance practices. She is since 2019 a member of Lecken, a Berlin-based queer-feminist, sex-enthusiast collective for nightime intervention and gender disorientation.
