A research about the puzzled relationship between two men, limited to the space of a home. This living enclosed in walls seems to have been disturbed by a recent happening, the cause of which is unknown.
Two men. A sucession of thoughts and reflections taken from everyday life and that hold something in common: distrust of the other, but especially of myself. The inability to take to the other what I am, to make the other as the goal of something that does not go forward.
The communication (or lack of it) between the two characters (or their inner dialogue) invites the audience to come inside the private sphere of this relationship. We question the language and try to decode, but without hurting, that life is already kicking at us and that comes. Come on, there’s not much else out there.
“ROBES” has theatre and video. And it has our whole lives inside it, like a sunny Sunday.
