Out of Suspicion

Booking: Free entrance
The new issue of Diffractions – an online, peer reviewed and open access graduate journal for the study of culture – proposes a debate on Suspicion.
In this issue we gathered conversations with Rita Felski and Margarida Medeiros; contributions by Katrine Dirckinck-Holmfeld, Nanna Rebekka, and Alexandra Grieve-Johnson; reviews by Samuel Mountford, Vera Herold, and Ekaterina Smirnova.
All have made this issue possible responding to the challenging notion of Suspicion with different and relevant insights on issues such as the uses of critique, feelings of paranoia, documentary representations, distrust of scientific facts, the trappings of feminism, the usurpation of indigenous rights, the need for realism, fakery of images. For the launching we will sit together with some of the contributors for an open debate.
