||| SYNOPSIS

José is an employer at a funeral agency that gets to know an executioner (Amadeo) during a visit to a prison. When he takes Amadeo’s tools’ case, he meets his daughter Carmen and falls in love with her. She gets pregnant and they are forced to get married. The social pressure and the lack of character, lead José Louis to accept the job as an executioner, hoping to avoid practicing this job, and to enjoy his oficial house and a better salary.
