How to undress what is not essential to our individual survival in an attempt to face more directly and effectively with everything that we carry within us? With our memories, marks and battles. How vital is it to have a sacred space of existence? What does the confrontation with what is truly raw and primary enhance in this process? What does finding a rawer, more ancestral way of being awakens? What internal fuel do we get from there? What internal force is generated? What instincts do we awaken?

Here we glimpse a stranded body, adrift in a cycle of creation and destruction. A body that walks between small awakenings and small deaths.

FILIPE BAPTISTA

Multidisciplinary artist who works between dance, performance, music and multimedia art. As a dancer and performer, he worked with Madalena Victorino, Malavoadora, Kwenda Lima, Companhia Amálgama, Pedro Baptista, among others. He collaborated in the creation of the theater piece É Difícil Para Mim Dançar!, created the musical score for Fuck Me Gently!, both by Mário Coelho, and the music for the performance Chambre 19, by Beatriz Dias. In 2020, he created the videoinstallation project ZÉNITE: Quadros de um Grande Jogo Poético. In 2021, he participated in the curatorship project All Tomorrows Parties by SillySeason, where he created and presented the performance ATMA_0.7.
