MASS | MESS is the search for meaning in the multiplicity of references, contexts, possible identities. The annulment of a visual identity, of a unidirectionality, is here explored as the generator of meaning inputs that are being established. The choreographic landscape inspired by Helena Almeida’s Inhabited Painting series, where the disappearance of an identity gives rise to an intermediate space as a new body in the image / space relation. A contemporary, urban, multi-influenced, multi-faceted body, exposed in anonymity, opinionated without naming, unified, but in constant metamorphosis and risk of dismemberment.
