We hosted the Atelier Mobile, a La Belle Ouvrage initiative integrated at Festival Alkantara, between the 28th and 30th of May. This event gathered 12 french cultural programmers for a series of lectures and workshops on cooperation in the European territory, co-animated by Albane Guinet-Ahrens and Anne-Cécile Sibué-Birkeland.
The programme for the first day set off with Tiago Guedes, director of Festival Materiais Diversos, expounding their experience of local and international articulation. José Maria Vieira Mendes and Elisabete Fragoso later presented Teatro Praga and the company’s last performances, among which Old Age, Once Upon a Lie… and Tropa-Fandanga, rehearsed in this space. After informal lunch with the representatives from these structures, João Guimarães gave a walkthough of the palace’s history and this project, leading a tour of the space.
The last sessions, on local and international articulation, were headlined Christophe Susset (ONDA) and Chloé Siganos (Institut Français du Portugal), Thomas Walgrave (Festival Alkantara), and Mark Deputter (EGEAC).
