These will be the days of our launch. The celebration of our beginnings. A collective meeting where BUBURUZĂS dance, and wine is blood flowing at the same time over the same land. An ode to pleasure, to the collective, to dialogue, to time, to breathing. Breathing allows us to make our way inside the body and somehow expand the space it occupies. At BUBURUZĂ we all breathe together, so we can occupy more space and claim a place of existence and revolution. Transcending utopia, and thus transforming ourselves into a Pest Killer, who is also a ladybug.

BUBURUZĂ is a place of creation and resistance for a group of people who have been working in the cultural and artistic environment, nationally and internationally, in different formats and in different artistic areas, individually and collectively. BUBURUZĂ is a place of active presence, where all the people associated seek to feel, observe and collaborate with more or less distance through their hands, tongues and hearts.

All the people associated have different backgrounds, both ancestral and artistic, bringing different qualities and visions to BUBURUZĂ, enhancing their areas of action in a collaborative investigation. We are interested in exploring the intersection between communities (rural and urban), developing activities that promote and energize the encounter and development of practices and knowledge.
