Dark, haunting and intense, emme combines detailed sound design with heavy dance music and aggressive vocals to create complex and immersive performances. Stemming from thir relationship with the performing arts from an early age, their shows touch on all aspects of live performance, transforming the venue into her own private world with lighting, costumes and choreography all designed by her. “Heaven Help Me” is Emme’s first major solo work and a full-length opera with a libretto that explores the consequences of an abusive relationship, with a post-suicide premise that delves into the performer’s emotional spirit.

Emme’s art fuses screamed vocals with intricate, dystopian soundscapes, creating a brutal yet beautiful fusion of emo, noise and hardcore aesthetics with the elegance of modern dance and avant-garde performance art. Their debut project, “Heaven Help Me”, is a 30-minute solo opera that delves into the raw emotional terrain of surviving an abusive relationship. They performed in the 2025 edition of CTM.

Colectivo Casa Amarela (CCA) and Rua das Gaivotas 6 started a partnership in 2021 that proposes a curatorial occupation of music. The formula is simple: every two months, CCA will showcase a sound artist and their latest work.

The focus is on presenting the best of what is produced and heard on the electronic music and sound art scene, opening up space for the dissemination of Portuguese and international experimental music.

The JEJUM concerts have already promoted premieres, unusual collaborations, unexpected twists and double performances.

The main stage at Rua das Gaivotas 6 whets the appetite and leaves listeners hungry.

By the time they’re hungry. Preferably fasting.
