On November 8, 2023, from 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m., we will close the exhibition by stage photographer Alípio Padilha “I came home and thought: this is what I really want to do!” – about the first 10 years of shows at the Gaivotas 6 creative space – with a wink to the next ten!

Alípio Padilha invites all young people interested in stage photography to visit the exhibition and photograph, during his masterclass, the rehearsal of Truta no Buraco, the Artists in the Neighborhood of 2023 – a project supporting emerging artists in partnership with Cão Solteiro.residências265 and Plataforma285 since 2018.

The best photographs will be published on our social networks, announcing the premiere of Truta no Buraco’s new play, thus hopefully laying the foundation stone for a new decade of new perspectives on the scene and new creators. This will be the first of many masterclasses and workshops that we would like to organize in order to turn the Gaivotas into a nest of new batches of rare birds on the Portuguese artistic scene.
