… from a personal narrative that circles around sound and visual pieces of emotions that have as their starting point personal memories.
They are fragments that awake our senses and make our lives run… there is fragments of sadness, disappointment, contemplation, but also joy, hope, peace…
It’s a constant recall of an personal sonic world, in constant remembrance of more than just simple faded memories, and where in each moment is built a distinct emotional tone.
For a moment and time are presented fragments of emotions that do not want to be kept but shared to be transformed to make sense to all.

Fragments of emotions is an intimate and personal narrative that circulates around sound and visual fragments of emotions that have as their starting point the author’s and performer memory, in dialogue with the presentation space.
This is a project that aims to explore the performative relationship with a wide range of scenic elements, between the order of sonority and visuality, crossing academic research and creation.
Fragments of emotions mix the emotional intensity with dreamlike atmospheres, in a space where the performer (re)build real-time atmospheres of his memories, requalifying the identity of the space.
The sound component is developed around a narrative that is built using site-specific sound and ambient soundscapes. The visual component uses a diverse collection of footage, which are subsequently manipulated to create the videos used during the performance.
Both narratives are constructed and synchronized by the performer who takes the operability and the contingency of its history, in a show which falls under the solitude and intimacy of the author as it raises a new scale of time and space.
It is also a representative creation of an artistic practice with both contemporary and personal expression, which has its genesis in the dialogue between theater, performance, ambient electronic music, site-specific sound recordings and video, in space and time.
Fragments of emotions aims to generate diverse emotions and ambiguous interpretations, allowing viewer to experience a contemplative immersion in order to be transported to places that he does not knows.
