ESSAYS FOR BOOK—CHARACTER is a research project which takes the shape of five essays: #1 Of The Image, #2 Of The Sound, #3 Of the Text or Of The Narrator, #4, and #5 Of The Light and is based on the the two-way game contained in the word character. On the one hand the character is a typographical symbol, the nuclear element, inseparable from writing, which can be a letter, a digit or a punctuation mark. On the other hand, if we look at the Greek origin – Kharakter, we find the metaphorical definition of “Mark, print or symbol in the soul”. This essay will address sound as a character (character) that will take two distinct forms: a scenic form and an editorial-artist book form. The construction of the scenic character will feed the construction of the character-book and vice versa. Stage and Book understood as places of Essay and provisional writing.
