For 4 months, the Rua das Gaivotas 6 and the Teatro Praga invite a group of people, students of different degrees and artistic areas, to integrate an observer group of thought. Participants attend a show or activity every month at Rua das Gaivotas 6 and, from this experience, they are instigated to write, speak, compose, film, sing, dance, think… The result is not what matters the most, but rather the experience of creating, how it affected them and to think the figure of the spectator.

This group of people will be guided by José Maria Vieira Mendes (Teatro Praga) and should be available for meetings with artists, discussions and mischief. It is thrown into a room, and later, into the virtual space, a set of words, gestures or sketches.

It is not only to establish a relation of subservience to what one sees, neither a relationship that obeys any expectation. This is the territory of infinite possibilities. It is important to discover in what way what others produce can also help us. And, on the way, offer them other perspectives on what they do. No regrets or objections. There are no abject ideas.

The objects produced will be published online on the Rua das Gaivotas 6 website and facebook, so others can do as they please.

Purpose: to be aware of how what we see interferes with what we do.
