Launch | performance by Vera Mota / conversation with Ana Vidigal, Isabel Capeloa Gil and Eugénia Vasques

Release of the nº6 of “Diffractions – Culture Studies Magazine”, which aims to analyse, through a theoretical-cultural perspective, the various as-pects of contemporary feminisms, from pop culture to the political realm, putting them face to face with the legacy of 20th century’s feminist statements.

The presentation of this new issue includes a performance by Vera Mota and an open talk with Ana Vidigal, Isabel Capeloa Gil (UCP) and Eugénia Vasques (ESTC-IPL), moderated by the magazine’s editing team. This edition, which will be available online the same day, will feature an interview with theorist and filmmaker Laura Mulvey, as well as testimonials by Rosi Braidotti, Jill Dolan, Heidi Mirza, Catherine Rottenberg, Catherine Driscoll, Rosalind Gill, among others.

Diffractions is a online magazine de acesso aberto do programa de Doutoramento em Estudos de Cultura – The Lisbon Consortium, sediado na Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
