“Cervical Kid” isn’t just one more play about the body’s memory, but instead a manifest on oblivion. The square formally structures this choreography in which the process is inspired by the logic of improvised music, present as a live quartet: Luísa Brandão (voice), Bruno Parrinha (pipes), Monsieur Trinité (percussions) and Rogério Pires (guitar). With a first time attitude, of an inability to make, the concept of dance will go from total immobility giving place to the musician’s choreography to a fusion between the movement and the scenic dimension of the play, assumed as a performance which secret shall not be revealed.
