BLOOM by Clarissa Rêgo, walkie_talkie by Bartosz Ostrowski and I SEE YOU_YOU SEE ME by Navina Neverla are part of a cycle of presentations of works developed in the first edition of Forum Danças’s PACAP – Advanced Programme of Creation in the Performative Arts, which took place between September 2017 and February 2018, curated by Patrícia Portela. In this cycle, the 13 works developed under PACAP 1 will be presented in March, in different locations in Lisbon, namely at Rua das Gaivotas 6, Monumental Gallery, Alkantara, Centro Cultural de Belém, ZDB Business and Galeria Zé dos Bois.
PACAP is a training / creation program devoted to professionals and students of artistic areas who want to invest in a period of advanced experimentation, conciliating it with a theoretical investigation and the practice of body and movement practices.
Each edition of PACAP lasts for 4 or 6 months and follows the curatorship of an artist from the performative field, returning to the root of the concept of curator as one who cares, maintains and transmits a living heritage. The next 4 editions will be curated by Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz, Vânia Rovisco, João dos Santos Martins and João Fiadeiro.

To make visible a human body in its beauty and vulnerability. A body that forms and deforms itself. A body metamorphosed due to personal, social and political processes.
A woman’s body. A singular body. If there is nothing to be explained, no story to tell, there is, however, something that happens; something that pulses and opens senses to the event.

I SEE YOU_ YOU SEE ME explores culture queerness and liminal spaces in an intimate setting.
Visions of the persona Lakshmi Chellani are explored: who is an expert in the North-Indian Classical Dance Form Kathak as well as ritualistic practices and altered states of consciousness.
Questions at stake are: Who is seeing what and why? Where is the line between you and me? How ambiguous is the limit between kitsch and reality? Within an immersive situation, the spectator is guided or rather left alone to assume his or her responsibility as spectator.

Imagine, you are reading this text over and over, already the 1 367 time. And what you start to see is not the sentences anymore but the spaces between the words. By reading this note you repeat phrases in your mind and they create a feeling of movement 2 cm under your skull. How did they find their way there? The walkie_talkie solo dance performance focuses on translating the virtual communication into an experience.
In exploring text and body movement it looks for their new modern relationship, asking _ What is the highest physical resolution in which one can talk live with another?
