In this third AULARILOLÉ, Alex d’Alva Teixeira is coming to Rua das Gaivotas 6 on Friday, May 16, for a very special class.
What makes a song a song? Why does pop leave us with an earworm behind our ear?

In this class, Alex will recreate a mini-songwriting camp with a group of 8 participants, where he will guide them in the making of a collective song, of which they will all be co-authors.

The class is open to anyone with any level of experience with music – from the most amateur to the most professional, from those who say they “only have an ear for it” and sing in the shower to those who make a living out of virtuosity. Everyone is welcome, and synergies between different levels are expected to be productive.

Materials:
– No specific material is required, but for those who already have some experience, we ask that you bring the instruments/sound-producing materials you usually work with.
