Arts of the Working Class & USOF
Arts of the Working Class + USOF
A place of gathering and the pleasure of mutuality;
Rua das Gaivotas 6 x Arts of the Working Class
Next Thursday, November 24th, Rua das Gaivotas 6 and multilingual journal Arts of the Working Class invite you to a place of gathering around the themes of the issue nº23, Kindness & Destruction. Reflection and celebrating mutuality and radical care practices as a way of breaking the inertia of how we consume, live and criticize.
Our program starts at 18h with a presentation of the journal with editor Elisa Fuenzalida, an open conversation of knowledge exchange and dialogue about the radicality of care, finalizing with a live performance by USOF, who will present new and unreleased works, inviting us to a collective listening space.
Wine will be served by Serra Oca.
ARTS OF THE WORKING CLASS
A multi-lingual street journal on poverty and wealth, art and society: Arts of the Working Class is published every two months and contains contributions by artists and thinkers from different fields and in different languages. Its terms are based upon the working class, meaning everyone, and it reports everything that belongs to everyone. Everyone who sells this street journal earns money directly. Vendors keep 100% of the sales. Every artist whose work is advertised, designs with us its substance. AWC is published by Paul Sochacki, María Inés Plaza Lazo and Alina Kolar, for the streets of the world.
