À procura do lugar feliz approaches transgressive practices that occur before a society that acts as a conditioning frame of social coexistence. It reveals the hidden side of the city that respects the moralization of the population, the domestication of social life, and the normalization of behavior.
Taking over a common space of the city, the transgression affirms like challenge to the watchful and authoritarian look that governs it. Reacting against the processes of domination, the configurations of the boundaries of the spaces are modified and their codes of use are destabilized.
The new meaning of space, defined by the transgressor, articulates with the need for refuge where its identity can express itself in full, yielding to the sexual drive of human nature and defying the limits imposed socially.
