After part one, that focus on the idea and image of women in the Homero’s epic histories, auéééu-Teatro, proposes a new creation, this time without the Espaço Neutro’s dance company. Part II of the trilogy will focus its attention in the relationship between Men and the Gods; Gods that observe from the heights of Olympo, from it’s immortal condition, the tragic disasters of mortals, as if it was a tragicomedy, a inconceivable novel, a football game that brings out the fanatic side of man – sometimes rooting for Trojans other times the Achaean. The fragility of Men, that do anything to become immortals, attracts attention and raises the Gods passions, that ask for more show, adding to war, making it go on for longer as more blood pours into Ílion fields. Associated to the central theme, the relationship between mortal and immortal and the tragedy fascination, we’re interested in reflect about the way man has developed himself throughout history from one figure ( that in Iliad is multiplied ) superior to him, which transcends him, as he tries to perceive how religion witnesses a mortal’s ghosts, where he fits in the world, understanding what makes its ephemeral condition.
