A performance based on the musical partnership between Sal Grosso, tcp António M. Silva, and Bá, or Sã Bernardo. Together they explore the acoustic and harmonic subtleties of the shruti box: a mass of frequencies occupying space, paving the way for spectators to develop their own narrative and musical composition with the relationship between the sound elements permanently around them.
This show proposes to go further, embracing and including the bodies present in a transcendental collective emancipation, making the Seagulls a temporary autonomous zone of free expression. This joint meditation will also be guided by master of ceremonies Puçanga and lighting by Bruno Pereira.
Colectivo Casa Amarela (CCA) and Rua das Gaivotas 6 started a partnership in 2021 that proposes a curatorial occupation of music. The formula is simple: every two months, CCA will showcase a sound artist and their latest work.
The focus is on presenting the best of what is produced and heard on the electronic music and sound art scene, opening up space for the dissemination of Portuguese and international experimental music.
The JEJUM concerts have already promoted premieres, unusual collaborations, unexpected twists and double performances.
The main stage at Rua das Gaivotas 6 whets the appetite and leaves listeners hungry.
By the time they’re hungry. Preferably fasting.
