In this creation we work with the oneiric universe, researching the mystery and power of the unconscious. We look at the relationship between the video installation and the bodies of the performers.

It is an exploration based on the idea of repetition and continuity, as if it were a dream, as if time were suspended.

Joana de Verona
Atriz/Performer/Realizadora luso-brasileira, 1989.

Joana began her training in theater and dance in 1998 and her professional practice in film in 2004. She studied theater at Chapitô. She took Joana Craveiro’s performance creation course. She graduated in Theater from ESTC. She attended courses with theater and dance trainers such as: Norman Taylor, John Mowat, Deborah Hay, Peter Michael Dietz, Mathilde Monnier, Jan Fabre teaching group, John Romão, Victor Hugo Pontes, Miguel Seabra, among others. In theater she has worked with: Gonçalo Amorim, Vânia Rovisco, Carlos Avillez, Marco Martins, Luís Miguel Cintra, Mónica Garnel, Beto Covil, Miguel Seabra, Mónica Calle and Christiane Jatahy. She trained in filmmaking at the Ateliers Varan school in Paris. Directed the documentary “Chantal”, which premiered at Indie Lisboa, currently available on the Filmin platform. He has worked with several directors in Portugal, France, Brazil, Germany and Italy. Among other distinctions, the most recent was the SPA award for best actress. As a creator, she co-conceived “Sexos” by Doroty Parker, Teatro Municipal São Luíz. She co-founded the theater company Fiasco, co-created “Silêncio pós secador” and “Puta de Vida”, Teatro Primeiros Sintomas. She created the performance “C ́est ma Première Fois”, Casa Conveniente. Co-directed the video art “Cara”. Co-produced the film “Yulya”. Co-created the performance MappaMundi.
