Francisca Manuel is an artist and director. She began a trilogy in the Azores in 2017 with the video installations: “Catherine or 1786” and “Vale das Doubvidas”. Besides the fiction works “Avenida 211”, “Travel Shot”, “Madame” and the documentaries “A coragem de Lassie” and “Vermelho Selva”, she collaborated with other creators in the realization of “Our Skin”, “Mina” and “O Gesto”. In 2011 and 2014, she worked in Brazil with the production companies Filmes de Quintal and Anavilhana. Member of O Lugar do Meio, a cultural and environmental association.
