Bernardo Chatillon
o que já cá está
History is a tool to access different dimensions that, when exposed to the spectator’s gaze, reveal a new way of understanding the current situation
What Chatillon proposes is to dismantle and open up a story from a performative point of view. ‘I am when being observed and invaded by what is in the room and my presence becomes an access point to composition and improvisation, based on a post-text dance.’
His methodology of twisting and transforming concrete experiences through narrative allows Bernardo to cast a line into the unknown to manifest what is already here.

Bernardo Chatillon intends to imagine new worlds, posing the hypothesis of relating to spaces that are obstructed, camouflaged, illegible, ignored, invisible. Living with bodies, landscapes and movements that are present but not visible, in conjunction with the concept of Magical Thinking applied to the theatrical dimension. He collaborates in different formats and projects through artistic practices, meetings and shows.
