And it’s inside myself that I must create someone who will understand.
Clarice Lispector
Emotionss like fear and desire are commonly used as part of branding processes: someone’s nonnormativity, when shared in na empathic and entrepeneur way, raises fear and desire. Someone’s nonnormativity is another one’s fear and desire. Fear and desire that it happens to her/him/they, the empathy of seeing herself/himself/themselves. We want to happen but we don’t want it to happen to us. We are interested in exploring the tension between being particular and simultaneously being a brand of that same particular. We are interested in landscapes where the body becomes particular within difference, but when it is placed as a brand of that difference, it participates on the hegemony of a set that dismisses interlocutors, participating also on its own disappearance.
