“ZENITH: Frames of a Great Poetic Game” is an audiovisual project by Filipe Baptista composed of a series of thirteen moving pictures. In each picture we see a body-landscape, materialized by the figure of a performer. The movement of the bodies and the words that echo from them serve, along with the audiovisual landscape, as the raw material to paint this set of short visual poems.

FILIPE BAPTISTA

Multidisciplinary artist who works between dance, performance, music and multimedia art. As a dancer and performer, he worked with Madalena Victorino, Malavoadora, Kwenda Lima, Companhia Amálgama, Pedro Baptista, among others. He collaborated in the creation of the theater piece É Difícil Para Mim Dançar!, created the musical score for Fuck Me Gently!, both by Mário Coelho, and the music for the performance Chambre 19, by Beatriz Dias. In 2020, he created the videoinstallation project ZÉNITE: Quadros de um Grande Jogo Poético. In 2021, he participated in the curatorship project All Tomorrows Parties by SillySeason, where he created and presented the performance ATMA_0.7.
