#LEMONTREE 55 it’s a performance for two bodies, two ice cubes and two thunders of loneliness.

With reference to the photographic collection “Dash Snow: I love You, Stupid” by Glenn O´Brien, a choreographic structure composed of tasks that are activated through a long-range arc is presented, generating a parallel between the mechanics of its execution and the emotional spectrum that goes with it.

The present time is counted through the impact of an air flow – breeze – over a continuous flow of water, in a downward movement from the inside of the eyelids of a face. The seconds of appearance, of cold and drying ensure the suspension of an empty eternity, a tunnel that crosses us without leaving marks of departure or arrival, the vacuum exists. Give me your hand. Scream with me: We died away from here, we died away from us. Us is the bird that wanders on the beach alone and never returns. Love is a sea of people on a carousel. Decomposition validity and speed. How many will it take to raise a thought, an idea? I am a body that I was before. Have you ever walked on the tar with your tongue? Reach out, take advantage of the futility that allows them to love you, that leaves you on a bench waiting for the next lap. Hold out your hand. The starting point is to extend, to go through the vacuum. Repeat: love is a sea of people on a carousel. I still think that the present is the impact of my back on the floor of each floor of a ten-story building, which collapses with each one of my impacts, enabling a new view on this platform game.

He has developed his work as a creator, artistic collaborator and interpreter nationally and internationally, walking with Ana Borralho & João Galante, Angélica Liddell, Romeo Castellucci, Amélia Bentes, Luís Marrafa, André Uerba, among others.
With Joana Flor Duarte he founded CAMA – Associação Cultural, where he is a resident artist and responsible for artistic direction.
