“the text comes back: it is volatile, it is vomit, it is volute, it is vowel, it is voluptuous, it is volume, it is will, it is vulva, it is vulnerable, it is voice, it is voracious, it is revolt.” – E. M. Melo e Castro

With the purpose of celebrating life, the sign and lyrics of the Poet / Inventor E. M de Melo e Castro and by extension the legacy of BRAZILIAN CONCRETISM (Décio Pignatari , Haroldo de Campos , Augusto de Campos , NOIGANDRES magazine) in the PO . EX PORTUGUESE, this creation explores different sound landscapes by giving primacy to the pre-verbal forms of language, with the intention of transforming and upsetting the discursive, utilitarian and functional logic of language.

In this performance, the voice or voices are privileged as corporeality, where the breathing, the rhythm, the now of carnal presence takes precedence over the logos. Text, voice and noise merge to produce a space of association in the consciousness of the spectator. In this process, the word will reappear, in all its dimension and volume, as sonority, as poetic deconstruction.
