CAPRICHO #2, Outra Coisa explores the possibilities of doing something just because you can, for the sake of searching new potencies, like in the curious research of a child. Several paradoxes inhabit this space and time, filling it like a mantra. Starting by using concrete practices in the studio- the choreographic machine by default -, two people compose “the thing” they will share with others (the audience). It’s a process that gets trapped in the surfaces of the skin, its tissues, and remains in between spaces, either catching the sun of the projectors – like before a faun’s nap – or ripping off the colour that covers them to reach another body. Not just a body getting undressed but a body that doesn’t conceal the tools that fabricate it, a made up body.

CAPRICHO #2, Outra Coisa is the second whim (caprice) of a series of works related to a same question: “how to deal with the whims of a body, how to activate an embodied dance thought, today?
