LONGO CURSO’s main engine is the research on the identity manifested through the body. It explores particularly the emigration, as a phenomenon that questions, transforms and redefines this same identity.
The performance uses the running practice as a means to deepen the topic of emigration and its process, as it explores a parallel between the athlete and the emigrant, both figures on the verge of losing the ineffective and typical gesture to give place to the effective and qualifying gesture…
Performance presented within the program of Temps D’Images Lisboa – 14º Festival de Artes em Movimento
