There are 2 live performances in 2 cities in 2 countries
There are 2 live audiences in each space
There is intimacy in 1 space & another in the other
There are 2 women dancing in one space & 1 in the other, with bluetooth, airdrop, and airplane, descending into a blue underworld, like hungry ghosts in a common silence. There is a moving scenography streamed from 1 space & another streamed back,
a mirror facing a mirror creating an infinity of ever changing images,
a room, of a room and a room of one’s own,
like love sent back and forth forever, lying down, facing up, as if we are all dead.
A collective witness of a disturbance

There are 2 different performances
SIDE A: Lisbon
SIDE B: Stockholm

Sara Gebran (DK/VZ): Choreographer/Dancer/Professor/Writer/Urban Planner.

Her works are situated within performance art, exploring media such as video, photography, sound, and text, mediated by the dancing body, present or not. She proposes speculative forms of art practices and writings, as approximations between various categories to avoid categorization. In the last 2 years she has been developing two theories through her works, which she titles SOCIAL INTIMACY and QUANTUM COMMUNITY, aiming for a more open and solitary community. Theories that could be found through exercises in her first Publication and explicits as such in her upcoming publications MORE HOLES, in January 2021. These books proposes ‘self-instituting’ ones own knowledge independently from the validation of an institution, in the believe that citizens need to search for another system of civil support, in a time where institutions and the state are unable to respond to the need of its people, for which they were originally created and meant to serve. www.saragebran.com +4523290139

Maria Stiernborg (SE) Set designer/Choreographer/Artist:

Works in the fields of performance, text and needlework. Her artistic practice involves speculative spells, scrambled coordinates, thought crowding and speed bumps as modes of resistance against an over-productive society. Studied set design at STDH/Stockholm and holds a master in visual arts from Konstfack/Stockholm. Between 2007-2012, she worked with, and co-directed the performing arts collective Arena Baubo. She currently collaborates with the choreographer Kajsa Wadia in the performance duo The Disengaged Free Jazz Orchestra and in the artist run initiative Speculative Junta, a touring conversation based artwork that combines the reading circle and the sewing circle. www.stiernborg.com www.disengagedfreejazz.com maria.stiernborg@hotmail.com

Olivia Riviere (SE) Choreographer/Dancer:

is a dancer and choreographer with her base in Copenhagen. Since graduating from the Danish School of Performing Arts, she has been involved in DANSEatelier – a place and group consisting of 11 choreographers and dancers. They work with rhizomatic structuring and togetherness in the field of dance. Olivia often collaborates with choreographer Lisen Pousette, visual artist Anna Moderato, and musician/choreographer Karis Zidore, where they explore material aspects of emotions, objects and alternative vocal-techniques and their influence. Together with Karis Zidore, she also teaches choreographic sound compositions at the Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Architecture and the Rhythmic Music Conservatory. Recently, she has worked with choreographers such as Sara Gebran, Marie Topp, Quim Bigas, Ea Verdoner, Robin Johnsson and Anders Paulin with the 6-year project PIM (para institutional models). http://danseatelier.dk/about

Karis Zidore (DK) Musician/Choreographer/Performer: works as a dance and sound artist in the context of the collective DANSEatelier. She is interested in the transmission of bodily affect and deconstructed dance music. Gel is the musical alias of Copenhagen based dance- and sound artist Karis Zidore. Her music can be described as deconstructed dance music, insisting on the constant displacement of beats and friction between rhythms and sound scapes – composed with and for the body, as a way of softening and skewing electronic sound. She makes beats that go in and and out of shape for bodies to go in and out of beats. Her debut ‘Drama Tools’ was released by Copenhagen label NESM in April 2018, and has been acknowledged by a.o. Resident Advisor and FACTmag. Karis Zidore works within the context of DANSEatelier, which is a physical space in Copenhagen, as well as a group of friends and dance artists, practicing collective organization, social and artistic support.
