“Anatomy of a decision” by João Fiadeiro

The publication “Anatomy of a decision” aims to recreate the first hours that usually occupy the workshops of Composition in Real Time directed by João Fiadeiro. With the advantage of extracting the participant from the pressure he feels in moving to practice, it provides an improved exposure and understanding of each phase that are normally triggered in an improvised situation, that is, in the encounter with the unexpected.

This presentation will provide an opportunity to explore the modes of expression of the artistic research of the choreographer João Fiadeiro as well as an occasion to investigate the (conflictual?) relationships that the book-object maintains with the performance.
