We start with Martin Crimp’s universe and shelter him as one of us because we believe that the nonlinear possibilities of the scenario feed the idea of a coherent and permanent identity as a myth. Most of the performer’s work on stage is an attempt to understand the multiple Annies as folding objects, memories and traveled places. We are always tempted to throw another stone and we failed constantly. Even today we ask ourselves how would it be if we had picked “other life” and let it walk between other ends. It’s because we care about Anny that we’ve been playing hide and seek with Crimp, trying to reach her and share our hometown memories, we intersect what we miss, in a way that we can’t distinguish anymore if the subject of this conversation is her or ourselves after all.
