Both visual artists, with landscape at the center of their work, Clémentine Roy and Gústav geir Bollason directed their first feature together in Iceland. « Carcasse » stages a group of people and animals living together on a deserted island, working with the relics of a lost world in order to build a new one. Somewhere between ethnography and sci-fi, this unclassifiable film invites us to inhabit and invent this special landscape along.

/ about Os Recém-Chegados

Os recém-chegados aims to organize screenings in Lisbon of alternative, international and contemporary films never shown in the city before. The selected films challenge ways of approaching the real by mixing different modes of representation with a strong focus on aesthetics and politics. Each evening will present a body of work. Director(s) will come especially to Lisbon to meet the audience. Os recémchegados is formed by Gaëlle Boucand and Pierre Carniaux, both filmmakers recently arrived in town.
