There’s a space that both pulls away and comes closer, draws and expands at the same time. And there’s a mass – full of parts and under great pressure – still in that space. It’s as if it’ll blow up, being so dense, but it remais like this. And it’s two nauseas: the mass shrieking at the space, and the space, without the mass, echoing the comes and goes.
Bruno Bogarim graduated in Fine Art at Escola Superior de Artes e Design, Caldas da Rainha in 2010, Bruno lived for a period in Brazil, where he worked in art galleries in São Paulo, up until 2015. In that year, he published the drawings a casa e a contradição falsa. Between 2017-19 he participated in creations by Teatro Praga, João Fiadeiro and João dos Santos Martins. He presents his first solo exhibition at ruadasgaivotas6 in January 2019.
