INTERFLUENCIES #4: 2 feb ● sunday ● 16H

Construction, sharing and permanent reconstruction of the cave, the clearing, the womb, the bonfire, the crannies (of a base, comfortable places flexible to mutations, interventions and rituals). This is the starting point of our proposal: to build places for meeting and sharing, for experimenting ideas, sensations, forms and questions.
On the first day an initiation rite takes place where drinks will be shared, the first sketches will be made and the bodies present in a sound journey guided by Pan.demi.CK will be mixed. Then there are two, but we can be more. Sometimes we are nobody. We don’t know. Which does not stop us from doing. Sensations does not always bring a justification from the start, so we intend to create a space conducive to understanding and free flow of sensations, and that can be transformed according to the intuitions and ideas that come from that understanding and that current.
The plane of logic is left for the last. We’ll be doing it until then.
After the sensation settles down, it may be clearer what the intention was, what ideas were practiced and how many reflexes can the glades and crannies may have.
We don’t know. Let’s do it to find out. If we are. How many and how. For what and why. In the end we talk. We do not guarantee answers.
I’ve been around since 1989 and after going through the Dance School of National Conservatory and Professional Theater School of Cascais, I graduated in theater at the School of Theater and Cinema of Lisbon in 2013 and it was around this time that I was part of the theater and performance collective “Medalha d’Ouro” (2011-2016). In addition to collaborating with Rabbit Hole, I also collaborated with Teatro Cão Solteiro, Mariana Tengner Barros, Rogério Nuno Costa, among other more independent initiatives.
I’m Dj Minoria in the project “DiscoBailaricoÉt(n)icoRamicha” aka “Os DBÉ.R” that I started with Diogo Lopes, I’ve produced and programmed several events in the areas of performance and music, and sometimes gave life to Artur Jóia, poet and artist. I did some movies with friends, Pedro Cabeleira’s “Damned Summer” and João Eça’s “Frágil”, among others, this is something that gives me pleasure but a career no, thank you. At the moment I devote myself to creating spaces for collective freedom and planting and maintaining trees.
Born in the winter of 92, I started drawing the first strokes shortly after, so a rare certainty has grown in my life: the visual arts. At age 15 I painted the street for the first time, and at 23 I finished my master’s degree in Design and Visual Culture, without losing sight of other forms of expression. I have done some Graphic Design work within two small companies and also outside them, continuing to illustrate, sometimes for others. I participated in collective exhibitions (Ocupação, Infame, Almáfia), artistic residences (Portugal and Thailand), and various public
events of music, poetry, urban art, in formats such as mural, live painting, customization, installation. I also worked with Associations and conducted workshops with children and the elderly. I keep a strong attraction for handwork, construction, crafts, mixed media and public space. Although digital is infinite and advantageous, I am pleased to feel that by being able to touch, I can also focus on what is real and what surrounds me.
