João Estevens is a Lisbon based performer and researcher in social sciences. He studied at Forum Dança and worked as an actor before starting making his own performances and experimental artistic research projects. As a performance maker, he seeks to develop hybrid formats through long-term experimentation processes, to expand the use of improvisation as method for creation and to pose questions about human interaction with time, space and power, creating playful performances. Member of Rabbit Hole since 2013, in which his most recent works are the performances “Capsule” (2015) and “Crime and Punishment” (2017), and the performance-installation ‘Terrário’ (2016). Creator of performance series www.we want waffles (2018-ongoing).

João Robalo was born in 1989. He finished the BA in Theatre by the Superior School of Cinema and Drama (Lisbon) and he was co-founder of the theatre and performance collective “Medalha d’Ouro”. Besides his collaborations with Rabbit Hole, he has worked several times with the theatre company “Cão Solteiro”. He was also co-founder of the music project “DiscoBailaricoÉt (n)icoRamicha” a.k.a. “D.B.É.R”, and he has produced and programmed several different events in performance and music. In cinema, he has worked as an actor for “Cavern Club” by Gonçalo Soares (2013), “Cartas da Guerra” by Ivo Ferreira (2016), “Verão Danado” by Pedro Cabeleira (2017) and “Frágil” by João Eça.

Joana de Sousa is an experimental and documentary filmmaker, performer and curator based in Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2011, she is member of Rabbit Hole, an artistic platform and collective for creation and curatorship. In 2012, she was awarded a scholarship to attend the international masters on Documentary Filmmaking – DocNomads, by Universidade Lusófona (Portugal), LUCA – School of Arts (Belgium) and Budapest Film Academy (Hungary). Her award winning graduation film, Bétail (2014), was screened in several international film festivals. She is currently programme coordinator and member of the selection committee of Doclisboa – International Film Festival, one of the most established european film festivals which aims to question the present of film, bringing along its history and assuming cinema as a mode of freedom.

Mafalda Miranda Jacinto (Lisbon, 1989) is a theatre maker, performer and producer. As a visually oriented creator, she uses moving images to explore the surreal in reality. In September 2016, Mafalda finished her MA program in Performance Making, at Goldsmiths University (UK), since then she has been dedicated to her own artistic practice. In March 2018, Mafalda finished the 1st edition of “PACAP – Advanced programme on performance arts creation”, promoted by Forum Dança (PT). She was also one of the 13 artists selected for Transeuropa Fluid, in Hildesheim (DE). She is member of Rabbit Hole.

Mariana Nobre Vieira is a former economist who in 2013 took a performative turn into contemporary dance, being a founding member of The Rabbit Hole artistic collective with which he has worked intensively throughout the night life/party and performing art scenes in Lisbon. She is now part of the SODA (Solo, Dance, Authorship) Master program in HZT/UDK Berlin, focusing her research in the betweens of performance and installation work and being interested in generating situations where performativity is activated by subjectivities other than her own.

Pedro Marum works as a freelance and artist based in Berlin. He is the initiator of Rabbit Hole in 2011, a Lisbon-based collective and artistic platform. Between 2010 and 2015 he has worked at Queer Lisboa as a film curator and production assistant. He is a guest curator at SPEKTRUM Berlin, where in 2016 he initiated the XenoEntities Network (XEN), a community platform to debate the intersection gender, queer and feminist politics with digital technologies. As a DJ, ‘marum’ is the initiator and resident of mina, and hosts VANTABLACK at Rádio Quântica. He has participated as a curator, jury, and lecturer in international conferences and festivals in Athens, Berlin, Hamburg, Ramallah, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Rotterdam, Tel Aviv, Vienna, London.

Sara Leite has been is almost all average-liberal faculties in Lisbon, but has only graduated from one. Let’s be clear: she is not paranoid, she is just an anthropologist. Amongst other things, she already woke up in Mexico City as an english teacher. Was fun. But lonely. But now she is already sick of seeing you. Anyway… at this moment you can find her serving coffees in any of those more or less gourmets spots. But is cool. There are more annoying things. Like being enrolled in one of the faculties mentioned above.
