I’M SO EXCITED! assume-se como um objecto íntimo, duro e cru.
Tudo isto é sobre o fim de uma relação, a destruição de dois corpos que se amam ou amaram ou apreciaram a ideia de se amarem, inseridos num cenário de festa, de aniversário de um dos intervenientes, que é também um ensaio de teatro. Num jogo constante de perversão e provocação, corpo imóvel e corpo 2 (como que figuras espelho de Hipólito e Fedra) permitem-se ser peças de um jogo não totalmente decifrável, para assim se chegar a um ajuste de contas. Essa “luta” caminha até um sítio de vingança, onde um dos corpos terá de se esquecer e (auto) destruir totalmente, de forma a atingir uma certa purificação e perdão. É essa purificação o estado que se procura: a busca de um amor quase dependente e total – sendo essa entrega total uma condição impossível falando nós de humanos, e de máquinas individuais.
Pretendo, a partir deste espectáculo, iniciar um ciclo de duetos, no qual trabalharei todos os anos, num clima de intimidade, com um/uma intérprete a partir de directrizes mais ou menos específicas, com a única condição da equipa ser somente composta por mim e essa outra pessoa.

I’M SO EXCITED! takes over as an intimate object, hard and raw.
All this is about the end of a relationship, the destruction of two bodies that love each other or had appreciated the idea of loving each other, entered in a birthday party scenario, of one of them, which is also a theater rehearsal. In a constant game of perversion and provocation, still body and body 2 (as mirror figures of Hippolytus and Phaedra) allow it to be part of a game not totally decipherable, to come to a settling accounts. That “fight” walks towards a revenge place, where one of the bodies will have to forget and (auto) destruct totally, in a way to achieve a certain purification and forgiveness. That purification is the required state: the search of an almost dependent and total love – that total give is an impossible condition when it comes to humans, and individual machines.
I mean, by this performance, to begin a duet cycle, in which I will work every year, in a atmosphere of intimacy, with an interpreter by specific orientations, in which the only condition is that the cast has to be only me and other person.
