TITA MARAVILHA

TITA MARAVILHA is a hybrid artivist and inventor of universes. Through the idea of ​​a political body, it brings in its artistic processes the pains and delights of being a dissident body. She is an actress, singer, performer and clown. Graduated in performing arts from Universidade De Brasília in 2018.

In Portugal, together with the artist CIGARRA, he develops the electronic music and performance project “TRYPAS-CORASSÃO”. She is an urgent artist for the contemporary art scene in Lisbon.

From Paraíba, (Brazil+’090 dream in ruins) Non-binary transvestite, translates her anthropophagic dance practice through film, video and choreographic installations.
She conceives of performance as a form of animated sculpture that allows her to become an object and a subject at the same time. Infused with the symbolic creation and re-signification found in the collective imagination, she composes around the ideas of the body margin.
